Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
In Ezekiel 36:26, we are reminded of the profound promise from God: a promise of renewal, of transformation. The Lord speaks to us, offering not just a mere change, but a complete rebirth of spirit. "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."
Imagine, for a moment, the power of this promise. Where once there was hardness, resistance, and coldness, there will now be warmth, openness, and tenderness. Our God can transform any heart. Romans 12:1-2 encourages us not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of our minds. This is not just a physical transformation but a spiritual awakening. But how is this transformation possible? Through the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is the Spirit that moves within us, replacing what is hardened with something that lives and breathes with the grace of God. This is the essence of the divine promise, a commitment from the Creator to reside within us, guiding, healing, and renewing us from the inside out.
Let us then open our hearts to this transformative power. Let us embrace the Holy Spirit's work in us, allowing the old to pass away, making room for the new. For in this divine exchange, we find our true selves, our purpose, and our path forward in a world that yearns for the manifestation of the son’s of God. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). Let’s therefore continue to pray and ask for a fresh anointing and the power of the Holy Spirit upon our lives.
In Luke 11:13 Jesus personally says, “If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
May the peace of God dwell within you throughout this week. If you've been touched by today's message and wish to explore deeper faith, join us for Sunday services at AFM in Canada.
