Title: Revival that Starts from within under Supernatural Visitation (Ps Mukumba)

Subtitle: Destroying Set up Camps in Judah

Judge 15

Ø I have seen something in our culture and humanity when we know that we have some special visitors we prepare very well to ensure the best time ever with them. This preparation is good for us and also for them. It gives us a good feeling. A feeling of responsibility. A feeling of care. Just a recapture from last week sermon before I go ahead with my sermon

Ø We learned that we should separate ourselves to experience the power of God and also for a better relationship with God. There are some conditions that God gives us when we come to him through his word.

Ø We also learned that God hears us when we pray

Ø Don’t be discourage whilst waiting, do something to occupy yourself like what Manoah’s wife was doing whilst waiting for a second visitation. This week we will continue to learn from the story of Samson and what God wants us to do in the story of our live

Ø The story for today begins in chapter 14 when Samson finds a pagan woman that he wanted to marry against the will of his parents. He persuaded and coerced them to accompany him to go and see his intended wife.

Ø On his journey to marry the woman he killed a lion that attacked him in the vineyard

Ø You are going to kill every Lion that shall try to attack you in any way. Nothing should attack you in the vineyard of the Lord. You will kill it with your bare hands.

Ø Now on his journey back to Timnah to wed his beloved he passed through the carcass of the Lion and saw some honey inside. He took it and ate it and gave it to his parents. He never told them from where he had taken it. Remember Samson was a Nazarite, he was not supposed to touch dead things.

Ø The other reason Samson went of the way to see the dead lion was to celebrate his victory. I believe sometimes we celebrate our victories for a long time and whilst we are celebrating, we forget the Lord and take the Lord’s victory.

Ø Don’t celebrate your victories for a longtime. Our victories are not important than our relationships. Our relationship with people and God. We should balance both our relationships with God and people. When we celebrate our victories for a long time, we give access to coldness, pride and self glory.

Ø Samson had opened an access door for the enemy. An access door of falling for the pagan woman from the Timnah, an access door of touching the dead lion and access door to coldness and pride. Every access door that is open in your life that is allowing enemy access should be closed in the name of Jesus.

Ø May the Lord help you and me to identify these access doors. I believe they are many which have allowed the enemy to set camp in Judah. Today that camp will be destroyed. All access doors which have allowed my depression and misery should be closed in the name of Jesus.

Ø When he arrived at Timnah he made this a riddle. Judges 14v14 “Out of the eater, something to eat; out of the strong, something sweet.” This was a riddle of the lion that he had killed when he was going to marry his wife at Timnah and the honey that he ate from the lion that he killed on his journey to wed with his beloved Timnath wife. The Philistines failed to interpret but used his wife on the last day to get an answer from Samson. Sometimes we make riddles with consecrated things of God. He made a riddle of his mischief. He was proud of his mischief. The mischief of eating honey from the dead lion and marrying a pagan woman. Pride comes before a huge downfall. He was dancing in the same floor with the enemy; eating, dining and marrying with the enemy.

Ø The man of Timnah did not take this lightly because it was a huge amount of money that they were going lose and hence they persuaded and forced the Samson’s pagan wife and his parent to solicit for some information. There are some demon/devils that always try to get information through some access doors but from today we are saying access is denied. No more access. Light and darkness have no relationship.

Ø We should all try to abolish any access that we know that devil have been using in our lives.

Ø Because Samson did not destroy the access door that he had, he eventually released confidential information to the Philistines. They were able to translate/interpret the riddle. Never allow the devil to interpret any of your dreams. You are separated for a reason. Separated to reign and conquer in the name of Jesus. His wife was eventually taken away because of this. He had to pay this. The devil is not our relative. We do not have to welcome him into our secret quarters and vicinity. Jesus says in John 10v7-11 “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. 11 “I am the good shepherd.

Ø What the Philistines did this it enraged Samson and on Chapter 15 he went for a recovery. He went for a revenge. The bible says it was during the time of harvest. When the enemy thought he was about to harvest. He rose up and went into his face and started demanding his dues in Jesus name.

Ø Romans 8v31-39 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ø When the enemy is thinking he is done with you I want you to rise up and start believing the Lord for miracle because you are more than a conqueror. Demand your dues.

Ø The bible says Samson went there and claimed his wife back but they could not give him back

Ø He then went out and caught 300 foxes and tied tail by tail in pairs and fastened a torch to each pair and lit them. He let the foxes down to Philistines field and their grain field where all burnt. Not only did he burn the fields and their harvest, he also killed them.

Ø Where did the foxes come from? Sometimes the Lord brings some foxes to assist us. To assist to destroy and also provoke the enemy. Samson was assisted with the foxes to burn the Philistines field to provoke them. He provoked them and destroyed their celebration. May the Lord destroy your enemy celebration today in Jesus name. They celebrated to quickly about your downfall. But the Lord says I love you and you are not going to fall down. I am going to hold you and guide you step by step.

Ø The Philistine retreated and devised a planned to fight him back and they pursued him when he thought it was time to rest.

Ø Have you ever seen that sometimes when you think you are resting then devil devises a plan? Don’t give up, Quitters are never winners. God is not looking for quitters. You should not quit the fight until all is done. God is counting on you and me, if you quit who will stand for you. Don’t quit. Don’t be frustrated. These are things that the enemy use to set a camp inside of us.

Ø The enemy’s plan was to set a camp inside of Judah and Judah was terrified. The enemy knows revival start from within and his strategy is to plant frustration, anger, resentment, negativity, hurt, unforgiveness, hatred, regret, lack of love, prayerlessness, discouragement, doubt…. Just to name a few. Everything that enemy planted inside of you I uproot it in the name of Jesus. I uproot anything that is not of God, anything that was planted by Satan be uprooted right now in the name of Jesus!!!!

Ø Whenever the enemy is provoked, he re-strategizes. Samson did not only burn their fields he also killed them. How beit they re-strategized. But this time they thought of setting up a camp in Judah. Because they knew revival starts from within and they said for us to be victorious we need to set up our camp from within. They went within the camp of Judah.

Ø Judah stopped going to prayer. Judah stopped going to church. Judah stopped giving because Judah had been invaded. Glory be to God they knew where Samson was. He was in a cave at the Rock of Etam.

Ø From today do not allow anything to set it’s camp inside of you. Please do not allow. Remember Samson’s mandate/task was to deliver Israel from the Philistines though this was done later by David. He was a Nazarite for a purpose. You are a Nazarite for a purpose.

Ø The people of Judah Instead of helping Samson they went and tied him and brought him in the midst of the camp because they were terrified. Fear destroys our relationship. Fear destroys our love. Fear is dangerous.

Ø They looked for Samson and took him from the cave of the Rock of Etam were he was living

Ø When they saw Samson, they tied him up and surrendered him to the enemy

Ø I want you to know that the people you think will help you might even submit you to the enemy

Ø The bible says when they brought him to enemy's camp the spirit of the Lord came heavily upon Samson and he broke the rope like they were burnt with fire

Ø May the fire of the Lord burn every rope that is tying you in Jesus name. Ropes of frustration, anger, resentment, negativity, hurt, unforgiveness, hatred, regret, lack of love, prayerlessness, discouragement, doubt….

Ø He then found a Jaw of a dead donkey and this was the tool that killed 1000 Philistines. You have got the tools to kill the Philistines. Don’t give up.

Ø Samson did this all, through God’s strength

Ø After victory he was thirst and he felt drained

Ø It happens sometimes when we have victory. Just after victory we feel depressed

Ø That depression does not come from the Lord

Ø He cried to the Lord and the Lord provided water out of the hollow of a ground at Lehi. When he drank the water, he was revived from within. May the Lord revive from within. I am crying for revival.

Ø They named the place the Spring of one who cried out

Ø I don’t know what you are going through, but I want you to cry unto the Lord for a revival. Cry out for your personal revival. Cry out for your family revival. Cry out for your church revival

Ø Soon we will have a supernatural visitation from our Supernatural loving God.
